We are recruiting for a R&D BAW Intern. One of the main functions would be to update and generate BAW (bulk acoustic wave) resonator models, which are used for filter simulations, from electric measurements of real devices as well as from data generated from FEM (fine element method) simulations. Within this task, the intern will learn the basic concepts of model generation and handling of the scripts and tools. Once familiar with the workflow and tools, the intern will help to improve this process by improving/updating the automation and data analysis scripts. For this, knowledge of the programming language Matlab (or similar) is required. Together with other team members, the intern will also work on improving the underlying resonator model.
Depending on the intern’s qualification and length of the internship, running standard FEM simulations could be an additional responsibility. Thereby, the whole workflow of stack generation would be covered. By working together with other team members, the intern could then help to test and improve the currently used FEM model.
