About the Job
Answering phones, routing calls to the appropriate personnel and forwarding general message voicemails to the required departments.
Assist the purchasing department by reviewing packing slips from vendors and entering the inventory items received in our accounting system. Running reports and pulling backorders and dated orders for the shipments that were just entered. Running appropriate inventory stock lists for comparison to on hand quantities. Follow-up with vendors for purchase order confirmations and ship dates along with entering the data in the system. Follow up on those ship dates to be sure they are met.
Pulling vendor invoices that are drop shipped when they are received either by fax, mail or e-mail and then billing the appropriate customers.
Checking on weekly truck shipments to be sure they are delivering on time.
Assisting with special projects or other work necessary or important to the operation of the company.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess excellent computer skills and be able to type quickly and accurately.
Must be detail oriented, have excellent math skills, organizational skills and be able to manage time Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with customers on the telephone or in pers
Education and Experience
Must have a High School Diploma.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience.
