Join the employee team at the Village of Orland Park's state of the art health & fitness facility! The Sportsplex is seeking an energetic, responsible, outgoing, and enthusiatic individual to provide exemplary customer service as a Recreation Instructor Specialists!  This fun, rewarding, part-time position will run a variety of youth sports programs. 

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilites include working with participants to build good sportsmanship, teamwork, and improve overall physical fitness, while ensuring that the participants are having fun.  

This position is ideal for a sports-minded individual currently pursuing a degree in Recreation or Sports Management, or a sports focused individual who enjoys working with children. 

Program participants range in age from 18 months to 6 years old.      

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

A High school diploma is required.  Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus.  Prior experience working recreational and/or sports programs is required.  Knowledge of sports fundamentals si required.  Prior teaching and direct sports participation is highly preferred.  Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with young children.
