As of January 14th, the legal department of a leading human rights organization seeks a Recruiter to contribute to the successful acquisition of attorneys and other professional staff. Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting the entire recruitment process from start to finish, including organizing and drafting position descriptions, reviewing and screening resumes, and guiding candidates through the interview process.
- Contributing to processes related to offer/rejection letter preparation, reference and background checks, and coordination with search firms.
- Developing new recruiting strategies and enhancing the organization’s outreach through online recruiting platforms and visits to law schools.
- Assisting with onboarding new hires and integrating employees into the firm culture.
- Marketing the organization to potential applicants and tracking candidate data.
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year of recruiting experience; previous experience in a law firm or legal setting is preferred.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Outgoing nature, a proactive approach, and the ability to apply sound judgement and discretion.
