Marcum Search, a National Staffing and Executive Search firm, is hiring experienced recruiters to join our team to help identify, screen and place qualified individuals into direct client positions in our NYC and Melville offices.These positions will SIT in our NYC or Melville NY offices. 100% remote candidates will not be considered at this time.In midtown NYC, we are seeking experienced and highly motivated full life cycle recruiters who have proven experience finding talent for finance, accounting, HR, Operations and marketing positions. Public accounting and C-level placements are a plus. In Melville, NY, we are seeking experienced and highly motivated recruiters who have proven experience finding talent for administrative support, finance, accounting, HR, Operations and marketing positions. Public accounting and light industrial recruitment experience is a plus. In addition, the recruiters will assist the Retained Search and Temporary divisions on roles that functionally overlap. The Recruiter will be recruit on multiple job orders at a time, and will be able to prioritize and work with the Account Team to write and post effective job descriptions. They will: • Help to qualify the requirement from a market standpoint. • Search job boards and use other resources to identify candidates, both passive and active. • Communicate with candidates via Linked In, email and telephone • Qualify and present candidates to Account Team(s) and in some cases, directly to clients. • Format resumes and track candidate process in our ATS • Present and negotiate offers • Assist with onboarding as needed • Keep current with employment laws and best practices Required: • At least 3 years of sourcing/recruiting experience for in the NYC metro market • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, MS word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat • Using an ATS for candidate tracking, PCRecruiter preferred • Advanced search experience, using built in tools and Boolean expressions • Ability and willingness to cold call candidates. Preferred • At least 1 year of agency or corporate sourcing/recruiting experience for direct hire roles in small and medium size businesses • Accounting and / or financial terminology experience • Using Outlook or other calendaring tools to coordinate interviews • Experienced with On boarding candidates Responsibilities • Participate in full life-cycle recruiting including: cold calling, pre-screening candidates, reviewing resumes and assessing candidates applications, scheduling and preparing candidates for interviews, and assisting with onboarding paperwork. • Utilize creative sourcing strategies to identify top talent. • Network and build relationships with candidates and with Account team. • Implement ideas and strategies to contribute to the future growth of the company.
