How You’ll Make an Impact
The Recruiting Supervisor will serve as a leader for the Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) recruiting team and partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to oversee the development, implementations, and delivery of strategic recruiting initiatives to support Quick Lubes rapid growth. Supervise and coach team of talent acquisition professionals (includes external/vendor recruitment partners). Exhibit strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer.
In the role, you would be responsible for:
Creating a culture that attracts the best talent and enables high performance teams to do their best work by coaching and developing VIOC recruiters, including vendor recruiters
Ensuring consistent alignment of recruiting strategy and deployment to business objectives by establishing strong partnerships with VIOC leaders, having empathy and delivering on commitments
Establishing regular communication and transparency on recruiting progress, key challenges and wins to executive leadership
Designing and deploying innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract exceptional talent for all VIOC position types
Continuously improving recruiting processes to drive efficiency, while creating an exceptional VIOC-brand candidate experience in every interaction
Reporting on staffing levels, open requisitions, and position activity to both Hiring Managers and the Recruiting Team, effectively communicating and meeting hiring goals and monthly performance metrics, identifying trends and measuring results
What You’ll Need
Minimum of five years of experience in talent acquisition
Previous supervisory/management experience required
Personally proficient in recruitment and candidate sourcing, preferably in a high-volume environment
Strength in supervision/management (coaching & motivation)
Strong relationship building skills
Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to travel (up to 25%)
