Reporting to the G lobal Head of RWE E nablement and Analytics , the R egional Head RWE Enablement will be the primary point of Interface and program manager for partners in the region and individual countries and will work closely with the Regional and country Medical and Market access heads as well as with the Medical Evidence Generation and RWE Leadership team to identify and establish new data and analytics partnerships. The Regional Head of RWE Enablement will be the regional point of contact for external RWE interactions being responsible for the representation of Sanofi RWE strategy in the required academic, industry and regulatory forums. The Regional Head of RWE will engage with the countries in the region to identify and consolidate RWE and Medical Evidence Generation needs and will work with the GBU Medical Evidence Generation leaders to integrate local needs in the Global GBU plans
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Participate as member of RWE Leadership team team to identify RWE partnership requirements and cross-functional opportunities.
Manage existing partnerships and develop new high value partnerships.
Represent RWE Sanofi strategy at external academic, industry and regulatory forums to shape and influence the ecosystem.
Use in-depth knowledge and strong networks to launch/lead new partnerships and/or initiatives, develop strategies, and manage budgets that bring innovative solutions and address key RWE business needs, including around new data sources, analytics capabilities, and technologies.
Collaborate with GUB MEG leaders, HEVA business partners, Medical leaders and other internal stakeholders to ensure RWE partnerships are aligned with business priorities across relevant customer groups.
Drive best practice and innovation in RWE for the specific Region
Transform regional/local RWE outcomes into business impact initiatives (label enhancement, clinical practice guidelines, Co-Development projects, outcome based patient management)

Required Educational Background and Job-Related Experience
Degree in a scientific discipline (PhD and/or MD preferred) with substantial project leadership/management.
10 years of professional experience in the application of RWE in Research, Development, Commercialization of patient care
Deep understanding of the purpose and need for real world evaluation.
Good understanding of strength and limitations of RWE and advanced analytics
Ability to use in-depth knowledge/expertise to launch high impact business solutions and initiatives in line with strategic goals.
Excellent networking and influencing skills, including with both internal leadership and external thought leaders.
Ability to communicate in a credible and confident manner to influence outcomes.
Ability to lead multi-functional teams.
