Position Title: Regional Mortgage Banking Manager
Business Unit: Mortgage Administration
Reports To: Divisional Mortgage Banking Manager
This position is primarily responsible for residential mortgage loan production on a regional level including the recruiting, coaching and performance management of Mortgage Loan Originators, Area Sales Managers and Sales Managers. The incumbent is responsible for sales management duties including accountability for mortgage production goals, profitability and other key department objectives (cross-sell initiatives, customer satisfaction results, file quality) and is also responsible for the management and facilitation of key Bank partnerships in their region.
Recruits, develops, and coaches a team of Mortgage Loan Originators to drive external and internal mortgage production and to meet or exceed established goals.
Implements and executes key strategies to achieve production goals, support partnership initiatives, and manage key sales activities that drive mortgage volume and production.
Manages all key communications, team meetings, bank partnership meetings, and coaching plans for their respective market. Participates in various sales and operational meetings throughout the given banking regions and markets and shares updates, market information, partnership success, best practices and any other key information related to the mortgage channel.
Supports and assists Mortgage Loan Originators with structuring loans, delivering quality files, adhering to industry and the corporation's guidelines and facilitating solid internal partnerships with our key partners. Assists in the management of the mortgage pipeline to facilitate and support a great customer experience.
Manages the financial elements of their production channel including the P&L, Pricing Behaviors, Non-Delivery Fee Management, Saleable Product Delivery, Exception Management and Expense Control.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

High School or GED
Minimum Years Experience:
Excellent project management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to use general office equipment
Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
MS Word - Basic Level
MS Excel - Intermediate Level
MS PowerPoint - Basic Level
BA or BS preferred. Experience with residential mortgage, mortgage originations and residential sales management.
Special Licenses and Certificates:
Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier preferred but will be required.
