Under general supervision of a higher level officer, Registered Nurses (RNs) duties are to promote good health and prevent illness. RNs educate patients, prisoners and the public about various medical conditions, treat patients and help in their rehabilitation, and provide advice and emotional support to patients' families. They use considerable judgment in providing a wide variety of services.
The employees in this position are also assigned responsibilities for providing direct or indirect professional nursing services in a variety of settings. This includes providing nursing assessments, planning, interventions, evaluations, health related education, case management, and execution of the medical regime including.
