Marquis Companies is currently hiring a RN for our Resident Care Manager in Training program. This training program will take place at our Post Acute Rehab facility. This paid position is full-time and will include training on all shifts to learn the day-to-day clinical operations of our Post Acute Rehab facility. You will receive excellent, hands-on training to learn Marquis nursing systems and procedures. Our organization also uses an electronic medical records (EMR) system and you will receive intense training to use the EMR. In the training program, you will begin the process of learning and mastering the RCM role to then move into a full-time RCM position within Marquis Companies. In the RCM role your nursing skills will be utilized as you conduct and coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessments (MDS) in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines, including the implementation of CAAs (Care Area Assessments). As a RCM you will also coordinate with Physicians (orders-delete), other healthcare providers, facility inter-disciplinary teams, families and manage the care of our patients through the Charge Nurse, Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Medication Aide to best meet their quality of life and care needs.
The qualified candidates will be a RN with some long-term care experience and a strong passion for working with the senior population. Experience with the MDS process, case management, and/or being a nurse supervisor is strongly desired. 1 years experience working as a RN is required. Strong computer skills are also required.
