Provides respiratory therapy, which includes assessment, treatment, management, control diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Consults with physicians. Provides consultations, instruction and/or technical direction of medical, nursing and other staff members. This position may provide direct patient care to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred. 2 years as a RCP preferred. Current CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license required. Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP required upon hire.
