RespiratoryTherapists (RTs) earn a competitive wage of $30-$36/hour based on experience. The Respiratory Therapist (RT) evaluates patients and recommends a treatment plan in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other clinical staff. Provides respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions including insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.This position involves direct patient care for a population of patients between the ages of 18 and older and requires age-specific experience, specialized training, and/or expertise to serve this population.
- Degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program or college.
- CurrentNJ state Respiratory Care Practitionerlicense.
- Current RRT or CRT by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 2 months of hire from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
- Strong Knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation andexperience with respiratory equipment required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
