Under general supervision, providerespiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary systemdeficiencies and abnormalities.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
Graduate of a post-secondary respiratory education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) Required

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

ACLS
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) preferred

Licenses:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the State of Georgia
Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of Georgia

Minimum Work Experience
One (1) year of formal training/intern experience
