Under general supervision, provide respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
Graduate of a post-secondary respiratory education program accredited by theCommission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or theCommittee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) required
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to workwith minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment andtake appropriate action.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) preferred
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the State of Georgia
Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of Georgia
