Qualcomm's QCT Application Engineering Group supports customers with all aspects of embedded software and systems development. In this position, Individual will be responsible to engage with customer designs, provide in-depth technical responses to customer queries, troubleshooting of customer design issues, , assist in feature definition and provide necessary training to customers. Individual will be working closely with internal cross functional teams and help external customers in Factory calibration and successful integration of Qualcomm RFICs with other Qualcomm solutions including modem/power management ICs and RF360TM into customer end products like mobile, IOT, wearables supporting 3GPP(GSM,WCDMA,LTE, 5G NR) and 3GPP2(CDMA, EVDO) technologies. Candidate will be responsible to work with QC customers to help them integrate Qualcomm solution, support them in factory/calibration and commercialize the product by resolving issues reported by them. Some travel to customer sites may be required for this position.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
2+ years experience with debugging techniques.
2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Up to 3 years experience in following areas are preferred :
Understanding of C/C++ programming.
Embedded real time operating systems and debugging skills
Understanding of Wireless Communication and radio access technologies e.g. GSM, CDMA,WCDMA, LTE etc.
Understanding of RF system and knowledge of 3GPP RF performance requirement
Experience with HW and RF Test equipment like Spectrum analyzer, Oscilloscope, protocol test call box etc is a plus.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred: Masters degree in Electronics, Communication, Electricals and related
