Teradyne is looking for a RF Field Application Engineer to join our Irvine, CA office!

Basic Qualifications & Skills
+ BS Degree
+ A Solid/proven technical domain understanding of RF testing.
+ 3 years of active Application Engineering in the ATE Industry.
+ Engage in detailed technical discussion with customer technical personal.
+ Ability to develop project scoping / technical assessment/team assembly.
+ Being able to apply judgment for effective escalation trigger and management
+ Understand Project management - Schedule management - Risk management - Change management
+ RF Experience/Knowledge: Experience with RF techniques related to WLAN and Bluetooth testing (e.g. EVM) and modulation standards related to them.
+ Provide technical advice to help design PCB for high frequency (up to 12 GHz) applications
+ Correlation of device results between RF bench test instrumentations (spectrum analyzer, VNA, etc.) and ATE.
+ Direct experience working with Teradyne's UltraFLEX systems.
+ Strong communication skills, in order to:
+ communicate effectively to customers
+ communicate within the team
+ communicate with sales and (Application) management.
+ Technical expectation setting/creating trust and confidence
+ Solid customer handling skills:
+ Effective expectation setting

+ Relationship building
