The Clinical Interventionist will provide medical advice for the study intervention program for the U.S. Study to Protect Brain Health through Lifestyle Intervention to Reduce Risk (U.S. POINTER) at Kelsey Research Foundation (KRF). The Clinical Interventionist will review blood pressure measurements and the results of blood laboratory tests with participants to assess progress in improving cardiometabolic health status. The Clinical Interventionist will collaborate with the participant to set goals to work toward continued improvement in health status. The position requires experience counseling older adults to encourage healthy lifestyle behaviors which will include physical exercise, a healthy diet, and intellectual and social stimulation as well as increased self-monitoring of health metrics. This position requires a person who is detail-orientated and adaptable, has excellent people skills and is highly organized, and is knowledgeable about general health, physical fitness and nutrition. The Clinical Interventionist will work closely with other members of the U.S. POINTER study team to ensure that the needs of the participants and of the study are consistently met.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Degree from accredited nursing program
Degree from nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or medical school program.
Current license RN
Human Subjects research training certificates.
