Provides direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Complies with the terms of the RN PRN Commitment Agreement for Tier IV: Network Based; 8 shifts per 4 weeks; 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks (can be counted towards 8-shift requirement); One major and two minor holiday; Must be able to work more than one designated hospital and cluster.
Required: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS).
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
Required: Five (5) years of acute care clinical experience. ICU/Tele; Tele/Med-Surg RNs require 2 years of recent experience at the higher level of care. ED RNs require 2 years of recent ED experience. In addition, 2 years of recent ICU experience is preferred. Labor and Delivery RNs require 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience.
