RWJBarnabas Health is seeking fellowship trained, board-certified breast surgeons to join our medical group in Northern NJ with opportunity to expand practice to another location in our northern region.
These positions are 100% breast surgery (no general surgery) with privileges at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark and Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville. The roles offer opportunity for mentorship as well as long-term leadership potential throughout the state. RWJBarnabas Healths Newark and Belleville locations are also fully accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. To bolster collaboration and education throughout RWJBarnabas Health, breast surgeons will participate in system-wide Tumor Board meetings and breast health professional meetings to share ideas on patient retention, patient experience and other important topics. Join a system-wide team of 13 breast surgeons, and locally work with 4 breast surgeons, 3 Physician Assistants, and a fully staffed front office. Outpatient locations are also extremely close in proximity to the hospitals allowing for minimal commute. These roles also offer generous compensation, health insurance, malpractice, and pension.
These opportunities present as ideal locations to settle into, surrounding attractions such as fine food establishments, desirable shopping areas, and only a short commute away from NYC.
Applicants must be fellowship-trained in breast surgery or breast surgical oncology. Candidates with a NJ license or eligible for NJ licensure will be preferred. We encourage you to apply today!
