ETTA is a renowned and respected non-profit serving the Jewish Community for more than 25 years). We have many entry-level, human services job opportunities working with Adults on the spectrum, with Down syndrome, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.

ETTA (non-profit) currently has multiple opportunities at our Group Homes in the San Fernando Valley for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) or those with similar experience (paid training).

ETTA strongly believes that every individual deserves the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential. At the present time, we are looking for individuals with some experience to fill the role of Direct Support Professional (DSP). The right candidate will be responsible for providing support, encouragement, and assistance to adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. If you have prior experience working with developmentally disabled adults, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Location:

North Hollywood (Group Home and neighboring community)

Days & Hours (weekly):

Friday through Saturday (28 hours per week)

Shift Starts: Friday at 4:00 p.m.

Shift Ends: Saturday at 8:00 p.m.

Experience:

Some Experience in this field (required)

Requirements:

• At least 21 years old
• Driver License with clean record
• Vehicle with valid insurance
• Live Scan background check (DOJ/FBI)
• Willing to use car when needed on the job
• Able to work in the U.S. legally
• Someexperience with Behaviors and/or Seizures a plus (not required / paid training)
• Strong knowledge of Orthodox Jewish tradition (required); must speak Hebrew
