Safety Coordinator will be onsite managing and overseeing work crews to ensure crews are working safely.
Work Location: Orlando International Airport
Min Requirements: OSHA 30. Preferred Requirements OSHA 500.
- Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and assures compliance with OSHA construction safety and health standard requirements. Responsible for managing OSHA inspections and tracks paperwork. Understand potential job hazards and how to eliminate them. Ability to order suspension of activities that pose threats to workers’ health and safety.
- Conduct or assist with regular job site safety / health inspections and Job Safety Analysis. Performs site inspections. Prepares and distributes report. Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and governmental regulations. Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes or materials.
- Participate in accident investigations. Investigates accidents and near-misses to identify causes to determine root cause and identify prevention measures.
