The sales assistant manager position is responsible for contributing to the growth of the business by taking the lead in attaining sales goals for the company’s Elastomer Group in North and South America. This position will be responsible for expanding our client list base, generating more business and maintaining current customers.

The sales assistant manager will be conducting oral presentations, attending to trade shows and handling multiple contracts.
Cold calling, visit customers, assess competitors by analyzing trends, identifying sales opportunities, develop sales by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, providing technical information and explanations.
Preparing presentation and quotations, closes new accounts by answering phone, fax and e-mail inquiries.
Travel required, issue timely call reports, fills orders by transferring and designating task to the customer service staff.
Logistics and supply chain management.
The candidate must achieve growth by utilizing their experience in the rubber, plastics, polymers industry.
Excellent negotiation skills are needed.
Must be able to work independently and also be part of a team.
Up to 20-30% travel in the US and 5% internationally.
A plus, to have a sales experience with Synthetic rubbers such as SBR, NBR, EPDM, CR, CPE and Acrylic elastomers.
