Job Overview/Summary
Building on a century-long legacy in cleaning and disinfecting, Clorox Professional Products Division (PPD) markets the Company's healthcare, cleaning and foodservice products to the commercial industry.
As the Sales Operations Data Manager, you will play a leading role in development of enterprise wide solution and processes, management of core business data and implementation of PPD’s analytical systems. You will act as a liaison across functional areas such as Clorox IT, PPD and Retail Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Supply. To be successful in this role, you will need good leadership skills and establish strong partnerships with a hands-on approach to managing data, reporting and business processes. As a result, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Clorox data foundation, analytic processes and enterprise management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Clorox Professional Analytical Tableau, Forge Business Objects, Clorox platforms, multiple data warehouse, canned, and adhoc report build outs.
Research and troubleshoot any data variances or inconsistencies and perform routine data validation.
Partner with other team members to accurately maintain various master data, customer and product attributes and hierarchy tables for the PPD organization.
Research and provide written findings of customer, internal and field sales data/reporting inquiries.
Log tickets within MyTech application, partner with Clorox IT as issues are identified and follow through to resolution.
Ensure data integrity within PPD analytical applications but also includes auditing data between other functional team applications such as BW, SAP, etc.
Own Forge Business Objectives analytics reporting.
Partner with Blacksmith to ensure Forge application meets audit requirements, supporting interfaces between Clorox and Blacksmith applications.
Lead data and analytics training and development of PPD Team members. Develop training tools for on-boarding new members.
Manag quarterly SOC compliance with all analytical vendors and reporting process documentation to meet Clorox financial reporting and controls requirements.
Identify opportunities for simplification and standardization of solutions, processes and automation.
P artner with IT and build out and improve current structures. Participate in development and testing of new systems that involve data.
Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required
Experience
Typically requires 3-5+ years using analytical applications and understanding of data management
Experience in Excel and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Experience in Customer Data Platform (CDP) is preferred but not required
Experience in training and developing skills of other team members
Understanding of Foodservice, Janitorial and Healthcare industries is preferred but not required
Skills and Abilities
Exceptional analytic skills and insights, data management, business intelligence, data modeling, translating business processes and needs of Sales, Finance, Product Supply and Marketing into communications and visualizations in partnering with IT and Vendors.
ETL/Data Warehousing
Ability to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization of solutions, process changes and implement automation.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office platform, including Excel, MS Dynamics
Strong communication both internal and customer facing
Strong Teamwork, drive collaboration between teams such as Clorox IT, Retail and PPD Sales, Marketing, Finance and Product Supply.
Attention to details, Analytical and Decision making skills. Ability to maintained detailed documentation that would meet SOC requirements.
Planning and Organization
Education Level/Degree:
Bachelor degree is preferred
If no degree, requirement of High School diploma or GED with 3-5+ years of working experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Alteryx knowledge would be beneficial
Microsoft Power Apps would be beneficial
