Schedule hair appointments with our residents and maintain weekly schedule.
Perform all aspects of hair care (cut, perm, dye and set in a professional manner an in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Ohio Board of Cosmetology.
Control inventory of supplies and equipment to meet resident needs.
Maintain cleanliness and order of the Beauty Shop area.
Demonstrate positive resident relations and uphold community’s quality of service standards.
Restock shelves & supplies.
Leads by example exhibiting the CORE Values through servant leadership.
Encourages teamwork and promotes company philosophy.
Attends required community meetings and participates in Life Enrichment activities when able.
Completes all required courses in adherence with HRA University.
Is prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basis.
Becomes familiar and understands how to report a missing person using the Safe Return program or equivalent.
Becomes familiar and understands the steps for fire evacuation.
All associates are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all community residents.
Must possess a State of Ohio Cosmetologist license.
Must have a high school or GED education.
Experience working with seniors, individuals not physically well and those with mental incapacity ranging up to serve in nature required
Must have knowledge of how chemicals used in hair care affect senior citizens’ hair.
