The Scrum Master for the Intelligent Automation Product Team will be based at the Amgen Capability Center in Tampa, Florida. The candidate will be a direct contributor to the success of the newly formed Intelligent Automation Product team. The candidate will own and manage the development and execution of a high quality, integrated and cross functional project plan. This is a highly visibility role with lots of opportunity to grow and learn multiple processes. The Scrum Master will report to the Senior Information Systems Manager.

The Intelligent Automation Scrum Master is the responsible partner for the Intelligent Automation Implementation team members and internal business stakeholders to understand the processes that will be automated, develop the detailed project plan for development and execution of automation bots. The Scrum Master serves as a strategic partner to the Product Team in the execution of the implementation and operation phases. Top candidates will have excellent project management, problem-solving and communication skills. Training and experience in Agile methodology is preferred.
Scrum Master is specifically responsible for:
Applies project management skills in an agile way, best practices in the development, planning, execution, control and closing of automation projects
Oversees the establishment and execution of project plans and other project governance processes and procedures
Manages project delivery: develops and manages the Intelligent Automation implementation roadmap, track milestones and provide status updates
Manages product backlog, working closely with Product Team owner to ensure priorities are met
Identifies and escalates risks and issues to the Intelligent Automation Product Team owner
Implement best practices for Agile Project Management, serves an Agile scrum master
Assists in developing Product Team deliverables (set agendas, create minutes, maintain decision logs)
Supports partnership effectiveness at Product Team level
Effectively applies the decision-making framework (DAI) and engages organizational expertise in plan development
Enables effective team dynamics and develops and shares best practices
Maintains budgetary responsibility of projects
Masters degree and 2 years of Project Management experience
Bachelors degree and 4 years of Project Management experience
Associates degree and 10 years of Project Management experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Project Management experience
Strong skills in team leadership and communication
Training and experience in Agile methodology
Knowledge in Automation Anywhere software
Knowledge of JIRA agile pm tool
Strong program/project management skills within a diverse toolset of methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) including risk mitigation strategies
Have solid business acumen ability to handle multiple priorities and to build a strong network and relationships up to the executive levels across IT functions and the business.
Possess strong learning agility and technical leadership - ability to breakdown complex topics issues and into actionable plans for team execution
Experience managing change in a complex, matrix organization
Knowledge of RPA technologies like Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Workfusion
