Human service provider in NYC seeks a candidate with not-for-profit and LIHTC experience to assist in the supervision of the Finance Department.
The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, have a minimum 10 years of experience and be familiar with government funding and reporting regulations. This person must understand the complexities of fee-for-service billing and have knowledge of compliance requirements for operating LIHTC projects. Experience with MIP accounting software a plus. The ideal candidate will also have some experience with audits by funders and the organizations accounting firm both preparing for and managing the audit process. Must be skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
