Senior Accountant, Energy Industry at Shamrock Recruiting

Our client, a well-established Energy company with strong assets and an experienced management team, is seeking a Senior level Accountant to join a high-profile F&A team. Candidates must have O&G industry knowledge and some Public Accounting experience. 

This position will focus on Corporate Accounting, Reporting, and Technical Accounting - Debt, ARO and LOE calculation, derivatives, etc. Duties will include journal entries, accruals, intercompany reconciliation, monthly analysis and management reporting. Position will have extensive interaction with company Executives, Operations Accounting and Financial Reporting teams.

Requirements:

O&G industry experience

Public Accounting/Audit experience

5+ years of professional Accounting/Audit experience

Accounting degree

Excellent communication skills

Professional and calm demeanor

CPA license preferred
