Located in Marysville, Ohio, Honda Trading America is searching for a Senior Accounting Assistant for the Accounting Department.  This position is within the cash management function of the treasury team of the Accounting and Finance Division of Honda Trading America.  From a North American perspective, this position primarily executes payments daily, posts cash receipts daily, confirms foreign currency contracts as needed, executes foreign currency payments, and calculates daily cash position and estimates with American Honda all while working with banking institutions and AHM Finance in completing these tasks.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Daily execution of payments for Honda Trading North America

• Daily posting of cash receipts for Honda Trading North America

• Calculate daily corporate funding requirements and next day cash position estimate

• Confirming foreign currency contracts and executing foreign currency payments as required

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications required for this position:

• Bachelor's Degree (Accounting / Finance / Business) or equivalent accounting / finance work experience

• Data entry experience

• Microsoft excel

• 10 key

• Basic understanding of banking and accounting / bookkeeping
