The Senior Actuary, Economic Model is an important position on the Solvency II and Economic Value/Capital Team, providing key technical and actuarial support in the calculation and consolidation of value, capital and risk metrics on different bases, and assisting with analysis of the results. Ideal candidate for this spot would be someone who works well in a team environment, and can proactively identify challenges and actively work to find solutions, as well as ways to improve existing processes. Responsibilities include:
Assist Audit support, controls & documentation and ad hoc business area requests.
- FSA or near FSA with 3 plus years of actuarial experience
- Experience with the calculation of embedded value and risk capital
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to think creatively, to express thoughts clearly and to work effectively with others
- Must possess strong accountability, be a good self-starter, possess high quality of work ethic
- Strong Excel, VBA and MS Office skills required
