Job Title: Senior Aerospace Engineer - Structures Design and Stress Analysis
Job Location: San Diego, CA (Primary) with travel to various CONUS locations and
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Aerospace Engineer - Structures Design and Stress Analysis. This position will provide structural engineering technical support for fixed-wing aircraft repair modifications and maintenance programs including the Planned Maintenance Intervals, High Flight Hour (HFH) programs, Special Rework, In-Service Repairs, Service Life Management Program. Areas of expertise include Structures Engineering Stress Analysis, Structures Design, and Solid Modeling, and Advanced Composite Design and Analysis. Experience with fixed-wing military fighter aircraft desired but not required.

Duties include, but not limited to:
- Perform engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft.
- May conduct basic and applied research to evaluate the adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture.
- May recommend improvements in testing equipment and techniques.
- Secret Clearance
- Possess over 10 years of experience in an engineering position, three (3) of which must
be directly related to Naval systems. Demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering
- MS/MA degree in Engineering, Logistics, Science, or a "Relevant Technical Discipline"*.
*When used in relation to educational experience requirements, “technical discipline” shall mean a degree in the field of Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or Physics
- Top Secret clearance
- Availability of positions is contingent upon contract award
