JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Art Director is responsible for creation of effective out-of-home ads that meet the objectives and needs of our clients and perspective clients. In doing so, help educate our sales staff and clients as to what makes legible, and at times, inspiring outdoor advertising. The designing of ads will include copy writing, image sourcing and/or illustrating. Once the ads are created the preparation of art mechanicals will need to be produced. Senior Art Director should feel comfortable presenting to clients (agencies included), giving Art Direction to more junior creatives, and aspire to a Creative Director position. Also, managing and creating internal sales materials with the look and feel of OUTFRONT Media design, with approval from Creative Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Campaign development: Providing art, design and concepts to promote sales/awareness for various products, events and causes.
Working closely with Account Executives and clients to create engaging out of home advertising.
Meet/present to clients.
Knowledge of design trends.
Managing traffic of creative jobs within the market.
Creating print ready mechanicals to fulfill local contracts.
An understanding of team environment and the ability to flourish within. Leading/creating within a team environment.
Uphold the creative integrity of your market by educating and informing across various departments.
Very good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and design best practices, and are able to teach/share knowledge.
