Duties: Plan, develop, and manage the design and execution of all residential product bundles designed to attract new customer relationships, improve new customer survival rates, and sell in ARPU and mix. Evaluate market conditions and customer data to create end-to-end product strategies to cultivate new subscribers. Identify key activities drivers and create strategies and tactics to improve subscriber acquisition and profitability. Lead and influence within a highly-matrixed environment, partnering closely with the organization’s Offer Implementation function, Sales, Product Strategy leaders, Business Planning, Business Intelligence, and Research. Manage sell-in strategy across all products (video, wireless, broadband, phone, and security). Define new customer-related pricing and bundle strategy, market strategy plan development including market assessment, customer segments, needs, insights, and value proposition, and go-to-market strategies for current and new products for residential markets. Analyze data from internal sources, analyze current trends impacting subscriber activity, provide options to address risks and opportunities, and work cross-functionally to socialize options and implement tactics in support of profitable subscriber growth. Analyze the impact of acquisition rates on overall subscriber activity and profitability. Manage the development of a harmonized acquisition offer strategy and plan and perform opportunity analysis based on segmentation analysis.
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Science and Technology Commercialization, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field plus 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, or a related field. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in an acceptable field as stated above plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience as stated above. Full term of experience must include the following: working in product marketing strategy, product management, or pricing and delivering sales, revenue, cash flow, EBITDA or profit results; overseeing strategic development, planning and execution of products based on market conditions and customer data; overseeing and managing product management staff through change environments; applying knowledge of the telecommunications industry and understanding trends and market differentiators and the competitive landscape; applying knowledge and understanding of consumer markets to provide insights into consumer behavior and marketing strategies; building presentations for executive audiences and presenting data and insights; and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to understand market and consumer behavior.
