Responsibilities: + Advise and partner withEVP North America CommercialandNorth AmericaCommercial Leadership Teamon all financerelated mattersfor US and Canada operations, providing financial insights on strategic as well as tactical topics and ensuring financial matters are dealt with in a compliant manner + Assess financial impact of commercial strategies and tacticsincludingpricing actionsandcontracting strategies. Developreturn on investment analysesand identify trade-offs in investmenton key categories of spend to ensure maximization of product contribution + Responsible for finance business partnership activities for Canadaoperations. Play critical role in transforming Canada Commercial operations to a full affiliate with three commercial products + Collaborate with Global Market Insights onshort and long rangerevenue forecaststo support budget, LRP and quarterlyforecast updates + Driveexpensemanagement for US and Canada Commercial organizations.Guide team members to partner with budget owners to gather appropriate inputs and collaborate with Corporate Finance to consolidate inputs + Work closely with Corporate Finance andNorth AmericaCommercial organization on financial planning processes.Develop appropriate reporting and presentations formanagement review + Partner with Head of Europe Finance and Head of Corporate Finance on global consolidation of product sales forecasts for budget, LRP, quarterly forecast updates and guidance discussions. + Work with CFO, Investor relations,CommercialleadershipandGlobal Revenue Accounting groupto support earnings process and product sales guidance. + Oversee accounting close process for expense, including review of various accruals/journal entries, reporting of actual results to internal stakeholders. Work closely with Corporate Accounting group on monthly and quarterly close activities + Play a critical leadership role in a cross-functional team with IT and FinancialSystems to drive overall strategy and requirements for appropriate systems and tools to support SGEN's growth + Identify/Recruit, develop and retain exceptionally strong talent. Develop vision for evolution of organizational structure and talent to appropriately support a multi-product, global commercial organization Qualifications: + Minimum of 15 years of related experience, serving in finance roles of increasing scope and seniority + Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources + Bachelorsdegree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required + MBA and/or CPA/CA required + Minimum of 7 years biopharma experience. Knowledge of global commercial biopharma business is strongly preferred + Demonstrated experience as a business partner and change leader with strong executive presence and significant experience working with and influencing senior teams/executives + Exceptional leadership skills and experience with building the best teams that deliver results + Experience managing and leading large projects, processes and/or teams. Successful track record in identifying process improvements and successfully implementing change + Impeccable ethics and integrity, proven communication skills - verbal and written, with a clear ability to effectively communicate between and among different levels of the organization + Possess exceptional financial analytical and problem-solving skills. These skills must be balanced by sound business judgment to be able to support tactical and strategic decision making - e.g. input to business cases, develop scenario analyses, etc. as stipulated by the needs of the business + The ideal candidate will be results-driven.
