Job Description
Our client is one of the leaders in Nano-radar technology. They need someone with the skills and experience to help develop and support existing embedded software projects for their radar systems. The candidate needs to be a self-starter and be able to work independently as well as be able to lead and push the envelope of what is possible. You will be working for an award-winning company with a talented team and a compelling product that has a direct impact on national security.

Required Skills

• Strong desire to be part of something that directly impacts national security
• Strong ability to work with the team to design and implement software solutions that meet customer requirements
• Must possess at a minimum a BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience developing on 32-bit and 64-bit Linux systems
• Expert C++ development skills in an embedded environment
• Solid ability to develop software interfaces to the underlying hardware
• Solid knowledge of networking between devices: TCP, UDP, PCIe, etc.
• Working knowledge in managing merges, release cycles, and automated regression tests
• Understanding of Agile Development practices

Desired Skills

• Experience leading a team of software developers
• Professional experience with Python/Docker/Qt
• FPGA development experience
• Ability to mentor other software developers
• Familiarity with DO-178 compliance
