Position Description
This position is within Fidelity’s Professional Services Group and is part of the Benefits Consulting team. The Fidelity Benefits Consulting Group is comprised of over 200 professionals who help clients tackle sophisticated (or simple) problems. Benefits Consulting offers a broad range of services that touch on every area of benefits design, strategy, funding, communication and delivery. The target market is large companies (more than 5000 employees) although many valued relationships exist with much smaller organizations.
The administrative support staff plays a vital role in Benefits Consulting’s success. These individuals are recognized by their colleagues as key members of their team. You will deal directly with and provide support to associates at all levels of the group and frequently deal with clients and business partners as well. Your skills will be constantly put to the test as you work in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. You will provide advanced administrative support for a defined team and contribute to the final output delivered to our clients. A percentage of your time is expected to be spent on client billable projects so there is an element of project management involved in the role. You will be expected to stay on top of group policies and procedures, current best practices and are welcome to help the Team Lead identify areas for improvement and solutions for them. Assist in the development of high quality presentations to clients and prospects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide support for assigned group, including calendar management and travel planning and “emergency” reschedules
- Assist broader team with systems access, issue reporting, billing, and expense reporting
- Be aware of changes in procedures, and act as subject matter resource for assigned team
- Achieve individual productivity goal of 25%
- Manage workflow for team supported
- Assist in identifying areas for efficiency
- Act as a business resource for solutions and participate in cross group projects where needed
Education and Experience
- 5 – 10 years of proven experience, preferably in a professional services environment
- Experience with benefit programs is a plus
- Bachelor degree is preferred

» Microsoft Office/Other Software Applications – Demonstrates a very high level understanding and proficiency of all required applications
» Point person for system access, and liaison with Fidelity Technology team to solution access/system issues
» Presentation support to include generation of slides, creative and professional updates, and proofing final document
