POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Sr. Finance Analyst to join our finance organization supporting the AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain & Logistic team. We are looking for a team player that has the entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys working with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Through insightful and data-driven analysis, you will partner and collaborate with cross-functional team members to drive supply chain optimization initiatives that will continue our flywheel. This role is both strategic and detailed in nature and requires a finance professional who has a passion for developing complex financial models to support sound decision-making as well as enjoys rolling up his/her sleeves to learn the day-day aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic and multicultural environment; will be a creative and analytical problem solver with the ability to fulfill the Amazon motto to "Work Hard. Have Fun. Make History."

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support new business integrations and be the key liaison for finance work streams with other finance counterparts including accounting, tax, etc.
- Serve as a key finance partner working with business partners and cross-functional teams to uncover trends in large amounts of data and provide actionable insights and cost savings opportunities
- Collaborate with business partners and co-lead on supply chain optimization projects by developing and delivering data-drive analysis, reporting and metrics
- Ensure compliance with controls and systems, and develop new processes to support the fast-growing, global AWS business
* Manage competing priorities & provide level-headed thinking during unexpected events

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field and a minimum 5 years of finance experience, OR master's degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
