Join the Global
Controllership team to support accounting and finance activities for multiple entities in the US/CAN
Region. You will apply accounting expertise and
understanding of US GAAP in interactions with the business teams to support
their growth and financial objectives. This role will facilitate timely month-end close and accounting for
complex transactions and will support US
GAAP and legal entity compliance reporting. The position reports into the
Americas Country Finance Leader (CFL), a key member of the Global
controllership leadership team and an important partner to the regional
business, tax and treasury teams. Other key partners include External and
Internal Auditors, Corporate Finance and Functional Management and SBG
Finance.


Main Responsibilities:



+ Support US GAAP and
Honeywell accounting compliance


+ Support delivery of
technical accounting and policy expertise and serve as SEA resource for the business teams


+ Assist with the
implementation of new accounting Standards


+ Facilitate various
month-end/quarter-end close activities, such as timely processing of NSEs and
aggregating close


+ related items for review/actions specific scenario analysis


+ Assist with remediation of audit
observations or corrective action plans and ensure strong internal controls environment over applicable
entities


+ Champion and lead process
standardization, automation, quarter/year-end close and internal control
improvements


+ Support liaison
with SBG controllers and commercial finance to ensure overall revenue
recognition compliance


+ Support deployment of the contemporary
finance operating model across entities under CFL supervision and deployment
of transition/transformation projects in the region


+ Support
Mergers & Acquisitions due diligence, purchase accounting and integration
planning


+ Support other special
projects/strategic initiatives as required



You must have:



+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance


+ CPA license


+ 5+ US GAAP Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal controls


+ 5+ years or increasingly more challenging roles
