This is a highly visible R&D role with many opportunities for advancement.
- Develop new products through technical ingredient applications – focus on Meat and Poultry applications
- Determine functional performance and sensory properties of ingredients in finished products.
- Develop new formulations in collaboration with customers and sales/marketing
- Oversee projects, project controls and project status reports
- Collaborate at all cross-functional levels.
- BS or MS in Food Science or related Food Technology
- 5+ years of related experience developing meat or poultry applications.
- Technical expertise at food testing, processes, sensory evaluations.
- Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills
- Expertise in Food Chemistry
- Candidate must know their way around a meat lab!!!
