Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is located on Florida’s Emerald Coast between Pensacola and Panama City, eight miles east of Destin. The 2,400-acre Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the premier destination in Northwest Florida.
Provide guidance and leadership as the Senior Front Office Manager, ensuring the delivery of consistent quality customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Resort front office operations.Supervise the operational activities of the Resort front desk within Resort guidelines to provide the highest standard of courteous service while permitting acceptable profit levels.Assign, coordinate, and supervise work activities of Front Desk Agents. Ensure work is completed to include, shift closings, room deposits, refunds and rebates. Train and develop Front Desk Agents. Prepare staffing schedules, complete payroll, and monitor labor costs to budget figures. Prepare and conduct Front Desk meetings and resolve issues. Perform house counts and review daily arrivals, identify potential problems with rooms’ activity and take appropriate action. Provide information and direction to staff to achieve 100% occupancy. Review and resolve dispute accounts and Housekeeping discrepancies. Prepare a shift briefing to communicate activities, short take training, and any problems and/or special information to the next shift. Perform check-in and out procedures. Take personal responsibility for correcting customer service problems. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements
Two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hotel/Hospitality degree preferred. Four years or more of progressive Hotel Rooms Management experience preferably in a 4- Diamond hotel. At least 2 years Front Office management experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural disability, and ethnic backgrounds.Service oriented style with an “Aggressive Hospitality” attitude. Must be able to motivate, coach, supervise and train hourly associates.
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is open and operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Employees are required to be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
License Requirements Valid driver’s license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.
