RMC is currently looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support corporate operations in Lexington Park, MD. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will manage HR related administrative operations and work closely with employees to establish a relationship as a Human Resources representative. Primary duties will include, but are not limited to: benefits administration, on-boarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, addressing personnel concerns, responding to general HR inquires, providing guidance and assistance on performance management, HR/Payroll system administration, providing recruiting assistance, ensuring ongoing compliance with respect to EEO and OFCCP regulations, and working with the Director of Human Resources to implement new policies, processes and procedures. The Senior HR Generalist will perform various administrative tasks as needed.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business Administration or a related field is highly desired. The selected candidate should have seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience. Human Resources experience in a Federal Government Contracting environment is highly desired. A Human Resources certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is required.
Experience: The selected candidate must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to adapt to a changing, fast-paced work environment. The selected candidate should have experience with benefits administration, new employee on-boarding, maintaining personnel records, full life-cycle recruiting, and administration of applicant tracking systems and human resources information systems. The selected must have a broad understanding and knowledge of general HR rules and regulations. The selected candidate must have the ability to quickly learn and administer HR/Payroll system as well as internal policies and procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools is required.
Security Clearance: An active clearance is not required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
