WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Inspector for our Long Island Field office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Providing Inspection Services for various construction operations
+ Providing Inspection Services for cleaning and painting of structural steel
+ Perform calculations to be used in the preparation of contract payments
+ Prepare daily work reports (DWRs)
+ Assist field office staff with checking contractor payrolls and other submissions

+ NICET III
+ NACE Coating Inspector Program (CIP) Level 1 or SSPC - Fundementals of Protective Coatings (C1) or Bridge Coating Inspector Program (BC1)
+ Minimum 7 years experience in construction inspection or construction related operations.
+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
