Our healthcare information services client needs a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java, web services, micro services, message queues, and SQL, to review an existing code base and improve performance by leveraging message queues and available technology. There is a mix of legacy code and new code that must utilize a content delivery tool that provides a variety of information and training (including some videos and animation).

Requirements of the Senior Java Developer:
- Solid full stack Java development experience
- Strong understanding of messaging queues (ActiveMQ preferred)
- Experience with web services and micro services
- Experience designing for performance optimization while being practical
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of Adobe Canvas a plus
