Meet our professionals CGI: An employer of choice Position Description: CGI is currently seeking a Senior .NET Developer/Architect who is a self-starter to join our team in support of a long-standing Fortune 500 communications client. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and with aggressive client deadlines to help scale an application. This position can be located in either Littleton, CO or Broomfield, CO. Your future duties and responsibilities: .NET full stack and front-end focused developer with architect abilities. Will need to be able to work "Whiteboard to Keyboard" and have a very easy to work with, flexible, and positive personality. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Knowledge and experience in object oriented design and development (.NET required) * Angular JS, MVC, SQL, with some architectural viewpoint. * Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Concourse or others * Understanding of cloud platforms and providers, such as Google Cloud Platform OR Amazon Web Services OR Microsoft Azure OR others * Knowledge of system integrations with platforms; examples: NoSQL db OR Redis Cache OR S3 OR others * Experience writing Rest APIs and microservices-based applications * Experience and knowledge of domain-driven design, microservices architecture and Agile development * Database Architecture knowledge (e.g., SQL Server, DB2, Oracle) * Customer-focused, hands-on technical expert with the ability to consult with leadership * Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and environments while being able to see and present the "big picture" * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management skills and organizational skills * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED * Workflow background * Camunda Helpful, but not needed * Experience in financial space Skills: * Communication (Oral/Written) * Microsoft Azure * MVC * SQL What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
