Senior Operational Reporting Analyst at Wellpath

The Operational Reporting Analyst Senior will be able to answer key operational questions with accurate, succinct, and intuitive data analysis. The position will thrive on the opportunity to review and compound information and provide recommendations based on evaluation of data collected. This position will be able to analyze complex business procedures and data sets in order to identify the key operational insights that will aid stakeholders in making critical and strategic decisions quickly.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university
• Master’s Degree preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience data analysis preferably with a healthcare organization
• High proficiency with SQL language, and Excel/PowerPoint

Licenses/Certifications:

• None required

• Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports that help improve operational and/or financial performance
• Identify and recommend new ways to improve existing processes through cost reduction and/or increased efficiency
• Create data models that depict trends and highlight opportunities for key stakeholders across all levels of the organization
• Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business unit
• Develop and enhance existing forecasting methodologies for various business units
• Perform other duties as assigned.
