About the Job
- Provide planning, coordination, synchronization, and oversight of day-to-day operations of the organization on behalf of the Deputy and Director
- Evaluate, assign, track, and complete tasks assigned to division
- Coordinate operations, plan and synchronize activities, coordinate external communications, and manage tasks with staff officers
- Coordinate, de-conflict, schedule, and facilitate meetings executed across a myriad of platforms that include Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret VTCs, telecons, and via MS TEAMS and similar tools
- Draft, review, and disseminate reports
- Execute weekly staff call, plan external engagements, and execute of the Managers Internal Control Program (MICP) on behalf of the Director
- Oversee and/or execute administrative functions on behalf of the Deputy and Director
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Education/Training (both required and desired):
- Bachelor’s Degree in management or other relevant discipline required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Experience can be used in lieu of advanced degree
- Experience:
- 15+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Extensive knowledge of the Army’s Task Management Tool (TMT)
- SharePoint administration
- Knowledge of a PEO’s Operations
- Battalion or Brigade Staff experience
- Understanding of Army functions, roles/responsibilities, capabilities, regulations and policies
- Strong working knowledge of DoD computer networks and VTCs
- Basic understanding of planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE)
- Knowledge of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and rules associated with different types funding such as procurement, OMA, and RDT&E
- Basic understanding of The Defense Acquisition System
- Proficient use of various software applications, including Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & SharePoint)
- Security:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
