**Position Summary and Responsibilities**
Teledyne Brown Engineering has immediate openings for summer interns in numerous fields and backgrounds including engineering, business management, and information technology. TBE is focused on actively recruiting interns with a desire to grow their knowledge and skill set targeted on operating at the highest levels in the defense, energy, maritime, and manufacturing industry. These interns will work on both in-line projects and special projects associated with current and future endeavors in their respective fields.
Successful applicants are expected to have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in a professional environment, demonstrated a high level of initiative, with a continuing focus on learning and improvement throughout their tenure at Teledyne Brown. Candidates will be expected to provide recommendations to a variety of technical and management issues of appropriate scope and complexity, working under general supervision. Successful candidates should expect to be immersed in a fast-paced, team-based, and challenging technical environment where an individual with talent and initiative can stand out and thrive.
**Education and Experience:**
Candidates must be current college students entering their Junior or Senior year
Candidates must have completed 60 hours of college credit and with a declared major related to the position
This position requires U.S. Citizenship.
The candidate must be available from throughout the summer.
Secret Security Clearance is desirable.
Demonstrated critical thinking in complex technical, engineering, finance, and/or management projects
Demonstrated leadership experience through school or extracurricular projects
