You would be responsible for the design and management of the engineering outputs related to lAC low and medium voltage switchgear controls, paralleling switchgear controls, generator set controls, and related equipment from the time an order is received until the project is fully commissioned in the field. Also, you will mentor and direct the work of supporting mechanical and electrical engineers and designers. specifically in AC power distribution and backup generator systems, work experience.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints & electrical schematic drawings. + Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel and Outlook. + Has a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience designing AC paralleling switchgear control systems (or related equipment) in AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred). + Has a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience working with AC low and medium voltage switchgear, panel boards, transformers, electrical diagrams and other related electrical design concepts. + Established Project Management skills. + 5+ years’ hands-on application and programming experience with embedded generator set controls (ex: Cat, Woodward, DEIF, ComAp, etc. – Woodward platform experience preferred), governing and voltage regulation systems. + 5+ years’ hands-on experience programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) for the control of switchgear and distributed generation equipment.
