What we are looking for:
Senior Project Engineer with Environmental Engineering background having experience in designing water/wastewater transmission lines, pump stations and treatment plants.
The person is responsible for:
- Developing designs for water, wastewater projects
- Prepare specifications,
- Prepare and coordinate production of detailed drawings,
- Develop cost estimates,
- Assist the Project Manager in internal coordination and client service management as required,
- Assist the Project Manager in mentoring Junior Staff and
- Undertake QA/QC for designs and documents as required.
The Senior Project Engineer will work on various water/wastewater transmission lines, pump stations and treatment plant projects. The person shall have verifiable experience in design and construction management of water/wastewater collection, transmission, and treatment systems infrastructure including all activities related to engineering studies, design, bidding, construction, and project close out; preliminary and final design, preparing technical specifications, preparing detailed engineering drawings and construction phase services.
We are looking for personnel with Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field and minimum of six (6) years of verifiable work experience water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
The person shall be proficient in Civil3D and shall have experience in ArcGIS/Infowater/SewerGEMS or any other similar software. Registration as a Professional Engineer is required and obtaining a Professional Engineer license in the State of Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Tennessee will be required within 6-months of start date.
