Dewberry currently performs work for several large transit, commuter, and freight railroads within the NY/NJ metropolitan area and is committed to expanding its role in the rail and transit market through the hiring of key talent, partnering and acquisition. Dewberry is in search of a for our Rail/Transit Team. This opportunity involves developing and managing a variety of projects including feasibility studies and preliminary and final engineering for traditional design-bid-build as well as design/build projects. As a Senior Project Manager, the successful candidate will provide local focus, direction and leadership to rail clients in Dewberry’s NE Region while partnering closely with corporate technical departments and area management. he ideal candidate will have proven success in leading staff and delivering various elements of rail and transit projects with a minimum of 15 years of experience. The ideal candidate will combine design experience with the ability to coordinate the design of track, signal, communication, structural, and power disciplines with an understanding of railroad operations. A minimum of 8 years proven project management experience and the ability to demonstrate strong relationships with project owners and clients are strongly desired.
