We currently have a need for a Project Manager III. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Program Management at Videa and be responsible for leading various programs or projects that directly support the goals for Videa. The primary function is to lead one or more program teams tasked with researching, designing, developing and deploying key product solutions and services to market while partnering with key stakeholders and executive sponsors during the full project life cycle. Activities will also include scope, schedule and budget management as well as reporting and analysis on key metrics as they relate to the plan. You will drive a team to successfully achieve business value and provide guidance and coaching to the PMO, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Client Success, and Technology.
Maintain a working knowledge of Videa’s product portfolio, including applications, services, product suites, and reporting capabilities.
Understand key business goals and align programs to achieve these goals.
Be comfortable working in a PMO that operates in both a “down and in” environment as well as an “up and out” environment.
Create project plans and documentation libraries that define deliverables, milestone dates, program state as well as timelines and budgets. Ensure milestones are successfully met.
Communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure that deliverables, status and issues are understood.
Participates in retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement in the management of Videa’s portfolio of work.
Ensure transparency of long-term project objectives and milestones, promoting this message effectively throughout the organization.
Proposing corrective action when needed and managing expectations across the organization.
Collaborate with other project managers to level individual work load and prioritize deliverables based on available capacity.
Manage projects and programs with minimal oversight.
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a Project Manager delivering medium to large scale projects and programs.
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Project Management or other related course of study.
PMP, PgMP, CSM or other related certifications a plus.
Experience in Broadcast TV, Cable, Advertising or Media industries a plus.
Be able to communicate to teams effectively and help drive them to deliver according to both short-term and long-term goals.
Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills for handling multiple and conflicting activities.
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills.
High comfort level in public speaking and presentation skills.
Commitment to being accountable for results.
Proven experience in leading complex, multi-dependency development work streams into a consistent, quality driven release process.
Capacity for building relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to be flexible with working hours as needed.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, and Project Management tool sets such as Microsoft Project and TeamGantt.
Experience with Agile methodology in a software development team environment applying SCRUM or KANBAN.
